Just finished the facelift of COAAST's website. This beautiful organization is doing everything they can in a variety of creative ways, to help those impacted (almost everyone) by the current opioid epidemic. They're also working hard to destigmatize the disease (not choice) that is addiction. Pay them some heed and/or catch a showing of their original therapeutic drama piece Four Legs To Stand On.
The issues that this organization addresses have been insidiously bubbling beneath the surface for some time now. Despite loosing at least one friend to the opioid epidemic, I was unaware of the extent of it's reach. As a 29-year-old, I have learned things from C.O.A.A.S.T. that are not yet part of public school curriculums. The information and resources they provide is good for your soul, family, self and community at large.
